Solution
Japan
- School Week: Monday to Friday
- School Hours: Typically from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Breaks: There are short breaks between classes and a longer lunch break. Many schools also have a short recess in the afternoon.
- Additional Notes: Some schools have Saturday classes, especially for high school students preparing for entrance exams. School years start in April and end in March, with summer and winter vacations.
China
- School Week: Monday to Friday (some schools may have Saturday classes)
- School Hours: Generally from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or later
- Breaks: Students usually have a morning break and a lunch break. There is often an afternoon break, especially in primary schools.
- Additional Notes: The school year runs from September to June. High school students, particularly those preparing for the Gaokao (college entrance exam), may have additional study sessions on weekends.
Spain
