Solution
- The tally shows the frequency of each free-time activity chosen by the students, with each line representing a count of five. So, in this case, the tally indicates a frequency of 16 students.
- The vertical side of a bar chart is called the Y-axis, and the horizontal side is called the X-axis.
- The X-axis typically shows categories or groups of data (in this case, free-time activities), while the Y-axis shows the frequency or count of each category.
- There are 360 degrees in a circle.
- To calculate the angles in a pie chart, divide each frequency by the total number of students and then multiply by 360 to find the proportionate angle for each category.
