Soluzione
Children in the UK start school at the age of 5.
They can leave school at the age of 16.
Parents pay for notebooks, pens, school uniforms, and sports kit at state schools.
Students take important exams at the age of 16, known as GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education).
The compulsory subjects for the exams students sit before they leave school are English, maths, science, and a foreign language.
A typical day at a secondary school is from 8:50 to 15:10.
All classrooms have a computer, an interactive whiteboard, and an overhead projector.
Students can use smart cards to pay for their school meal.
