at school we have an equality group, made up of staff and students. i'm one of them. what do we do? we work to address equality issues, of course. the idea is to fight against inequality at school, but also to deal with broader problems felt on a global scale. i'll give you an example. every year we organise an event called special sports: we invite a number of paralympic athletes to talk about their experiences.

on special occasions we also focus on specific local problems and try to raise awareness. last year, for instance, we held a charity bake sale to help some refugees who had just arrived in our community. the theme was chocolate! the fundraiser turned out to be a success: we collected a lot of money and would like to repeat the experience.
