steve: hey, have you heard the weather forecast this morning?
jack: yes, they're predicting thunderstorms for the afternoon.
steve: i hate thunderstorms, i can't stand the thunder and lightning.
jack: yeah, it can be pretty scary. also, the climate is more humid than yesterday and there's a lot of fog at the moment.
steve: are you kidding me? fog is more common in autumn than in summer. by the way, how's the temperature outside?
jack: it's not as cold as i expected.
steve: do you want to go to the lake?
jack: that sounds like a great idea. today there are probably fewer people than usual. but don't forget to bring an umbrella!
