lucy: what? i can't believe that.

lucy: oh, i'm so sorry to hear that. did you at least get any gifts from your school friends?
james: no, i didn't. i feel really lonely.
lucy: maybe your family is planning a surprise party for you. what kind of surprise would you like?
james: i'd love a big cake with candles to blow out, like when i was a kid.
lucy: don't worry, james. i'm sure your family has prepared both the cake and some gifts for you.
